Happy Greek Summer…in one of my top 10 Greek Islands.

August is only a week ahead and most of you departing to other more exotic destinations. So i’m sad because i will loose you as readers…anyhow not so sad because myself i’m ready to leave on vacations to my beloved alexandroupolis up northern Greece and i will end up to a Greek island (one of thousands spread to the beautiful aegean sea).

So i would like to close this writing season with a song and many beautiful pictures of Greek Islands. My top 10 of them :

No 10 : Thassos

Alykes beach

Thassos is a beautiful island on northern Greece just some miles from the coast. The island was destroyed before 20 years due to a devastating forest fire. Today Forest reappearing, scenery is beautiful and waters crystal clear. Here is one of the most famous beaches of the island : Alykes. Swimming there is an experience…

No 9 : Samothraki

Samothraki is a northern island close to greek turkish borders. Is only fem miles from Alexandroupolis’ port and offering various swimming experiences. But also on the islands’ mountain you would find waterfalls!!! Plus the excellent taste of local goat’s meat. Taste it, you will never forget it.

No 8 : Andros

Andros is a not so small island, part of cyclades complex. Beautiful sea, excellent scenery and a picturesque capital town. I have passed my vacations there at age of 10. Of course many changes took place (and i’m sure that in Batsi you are not taking your mail by the local grocery…). Because of my beautiful memories i kept this island on my top list..

No 7 : Zakynthos

Close to the Peloponese (region of mainland Greece) Zante, as it was called by the italians, is one of the most beautiful in the country. Stands between Greece and Italy in the Ionian Sea (the only one included outside aegean..). You have to visit the “ship wreck”. An area unique in the world. See the picture.

No 6 : Rhodes

I’m sure you have heard about it in the past. Still one of the most popular destinations in Greece. Chartered flights all inclusive hotels, night life, beautiful small islands around and in my opinion the most beautiful beach of the island : Anthony Queen’s beach. Named after the famous actor played on screen Zorba the Greek. A movie with Oscar awards and the first and real promotion video of Greece itself. But here i’m giving you the photo of Lindos. Amazing!!!

No 5 : Sifnos

Sifnos is an island in the middle of Cyclades complex. A small island with beautiful sea, and a “chora” with magnificent architecture. Here is one of the most beautiful corners of the island : the castle!!! Go up there and dream, some centuries ago, villagers protecting themselves by the pirates invading and destrying their properties. A nice holywood scenario….

No 4 : Skopelos

Skopelos is close to Thessaly (another region of mainland Greece, somewhere in the middle). Is small and beautiful. Apart of waters, fresh fish, forests and unique architecture, has excellent restaurants with local dishes. A real brand for the island. Here is milia beach one of the most untouched of the island.

No 3 : Mykonos

What can i say? The oldest, traditional tourism destination in my country. Is it a gay island? yes it was!! I dont think anymore…Life style island? Yes definitely. Night life? The best during summer. Swimming? You dont know which beach to choose. Family tourism? Could be possible..but i’m not suggesting it. Here see the picture of little Venice. The true flavour of the island.

No 2 : Patmos

The wholy island. The island that St Johns “Apocalypsis” was written. Sometimes i think the island remains the same spiritual as in the ancient times. One of the characteristics is the limited road network. To discover the island you have to use the small boats provided by local fishermen. But the real beauty is the Monastery, builded in the medieval times and dominates the view. Walking between narrows streets in the evening makes you feel being lost in the past of history.

NO 1 : SANTORINI

The Volcano, the sunset, the view of the moon rising from the sea, antiquities, exploring the deep of the island, the little caves becoming hotels, rooms and villas, night life, cruising, what to mention first? But above all the breathtaking view during sunset, laying on the balcony of your room, hotel, restaurant, bar, coffee shop, makes your experience unique. My romantic island!!!!

I’m not gonna write you a love song…

By listening to the song i thought how depressive could be our love affairs. How easily we are demanding without giving and asking back sentiments that are not there. Our maturity is vanishing when comes to human relations. Even if we are eagger to love and to be loved in return, today relations are difficult to get a meaning. I have several questions through my experience, how people are thinking today on the perspective of being with the someone special.

Are we really get in love? Are we really “need” to be committed? Or we are just trying to feel less “lonely” and we are rushing into relations offering us just a companion to our journey of isolation in a society that everything runs around money?

Does our relations have enough space to grow and flourish or we are always depressed by our life style (including work, leisure and family stereotypes). How many opportunities all of us have to meet this special someone? And if we meet him/her are we ready to take the nessecary steps to come closer? to understand? even to listen of what is happening outside our door?

My idea is that to be in love today is impossible. Hot it could be? Loving a person demands to be in love with life itself. That you really love people. That you like to participate in society and take the pleasures of it. That you are ready to give unconditionally without the expectation of what is coming next.

I dont think that anyone of us is ready for that. Why? Because we live in a society of fear and suspicion. Everyone outside us is a stranger. And in our days we are afraid of strangers.

So what is left? I’m meeting all the time women more and more hesitant to believe that normal people are out there. That existing guys ready to love them. All of them have to tell a story of a “bleeding” love. They are preaching their independence at the same time that only desire is to see the full moon in a warm summer night with a guy that would be in love with them….Oops!!! First mistake, they are expecting the guy to be in love with them? And would they be in love with him? Do you think my question is a stupid male question?

Not at all dear ladies. Because finally you are expecting first to be loved and then to love back. Women are so selfish today that makes it impossible to be in love with them. Even if you would have enough patience to pass the very first interrogation (on your job, your past relations, your views on family and commitment, your preferences in food or if you cook or not) and after you have convinced them that you are not running after their p..ssy (you must not mention sex the very first date and sometimes even longer…) then you have a chance to let you come initially(sic) closer…. Give me a break…Why on earth i have to pass through all this procedure? And how i could be in love with a woman waiting for me around the corner with a gun pointing on my head?

So dear ladies. befoe listening to complaints, further arguments and disappoinment, you must see within yourself to find the answers. Then you could wonder where all men go?

As far as considers me : “i’m not gonna write you a love song ….because you need one!!!”

Οι περισσότεροι γυρνάνε την πλάτη σε μια μη ανεξάρτητη δικαιοσύνη, σε ένα σύστημα νεκρό και σε ηγέτες που βρίσκονται στον “δικό τους” κόσμο.

Ο Γκορμπατσώφ ως εμπνευστής της Περεστρόικα, ήταν αυτός που έφυγε μετά πρώτος!!! Ακούτε οι περί τον Γιώργο;

Αλέξη για σένα δουλεύουν όλοι….Εσύ μπορείς να πας για μπάνια. Αυτοί θα σου φέρουν το αποτέλεσμα…

Sex and the City?,,,or a Sexy City?

One friend of mine told me that she liked pretty much my article on Love in times of inflation.… that was written in a Sex and the City mood as i have been told. So then i thought that maybe she is wright but i know my writing is fundamentally different. I’m more inclined to political argumentation and analysis. So how i could combine both?

So today i have decided to write not in a Sex and the City mood but on Sexy Cities. What i mean by the term is the following : There are cities that i was in love with them. And they were cities that i was feeling encouraged (sic) to fall in love with a woman. And there were cities that i was anxious to leave them behind, in such a way that most probably passed my time in a pub drinking or within hotels listening to endless speeches on Quality of Urban Environment. (lol)

So do we have sexy cities today? What makes a city “sexy”? The architecture? The open landscapes? The user friendliness? Or just our perception of city’s culture?

To give you an example : In Greece we have a city characterized by many, as “the most romantic”. Is called Thessaloniki and is up north. The second urban center of the country (size and economically wise). They say is “romantic” because of its long bay that someone could walk under the moon in a pleasant summer night.But is called “romantic” by its visitors, passing weekends there. IS it “romantic” for its inhabitants also? And how this could be the case when you need every morning 1 hour to cover 10 minutes distance to reach your office? How you could say that if you live close to the industrial zone, constructed (out of any logic) in a close distance, polluting every day the air you breath and the sea you are falling in love with? How you could call her “romantic”,  when you have to walk at night by the sea, facing the noise of huge rats running around your feet?

When i have tried to recall other cities that made me feel in love i could name few :

New York City – actually i was in love when i have visited first time. And the city was beautiful in the summer, sitting on a pavement drinking wine with a special woman (and violating the law….by drinking publicly!!)

Florence Italy- an amazing city that unfortunately visited with the wrong woman…., but still the City was beautiful enough to fall in love with every Italian lady crossing the street! And how i could resist when i was seeing the view over ponte di Vecchio?

Tehran , Iran- i was one of the few lucky foreigners visiting alone!!! Is the only city in the world that you are getting in love with a woman’s eyes and the majority are just beautiful…(because of the strict dressing code you are not alloud to see much more than the face of a woman. At first when i was seeing all those black dresses around me i have felt like participating in a funeral. That we were all of us massively mourning on the loss of a dearest person. After some days i though that women in this country are mourning on their situation..) On the other hand is the only city that i was frustrated on how a state could supress woman’s dignity!!!

Finally i would mention Paris. Most of the people thinks the city as the most romantic in the world. I dont!! Paris for a strange reason was connected in my life with unpleasant memories. As a result iwas avoiding the city for many many years. And finally i have visited this year for a conference. I felt little more positive about it. But still no romantic at all!!!

I’m concluding my thoughts by the idea that does have Cities a gender? a sex? For some of them i would definitely feel them as females, a femme fatale! For some of them i would feel them as males. And very matcho, vulgar, aggresive and abusive ones. What do you think?

Viva La Vida….Viva la Bush…by Coldplay

At first it was an excellent song by Coldplay…. An anti Bush song..released two months ago. I loved the song and its lyrics. Is a parody monologue of Bush. And even if i dont believe that world would become better with Barak Obama (for McCain is a safe bet that world would go worse) i admit that only Nixon could be lower on my scale than Bush’s failure. So i liked the song very much.

And Then a guy, from US probably, took the lyrics and the music, and created a new video

Viva la Bush video. If you watch the images and at the same time listening to the lyrics or read them (for non native english speakers..) its a perfect match.

But yet there is a big issue on the lyrics interpretation (left unclear by Coldplay themselves?)

In the last chorus the lyrics goes

For some reason i can’t explain

I know St Peter won’t call my name

Never an honest word

But that was when i ruled the world

So in song’s context the word “WON’T” gives the negative feeling on Bush administration. And in a magic way, far right groups in USA, change the word to  “WILL” and gave the positive view. That change made the song the most popular in US last month and now is played to churches even.

I think you should judge by yourselves by watching both videos. You will enjoy them.

Where did all MEN go?…another urban legend?

I’m listening to this question for so many years. First it was something like whisper. Then became a loud voice. Now is an urban legend…..

I thought to write many ideas on how women today have this perception on men’s …”absence”!!! Instead of doing that i would give you five sentences. Five explanations but without documentation. I’m expecting you to add the background information…

Sentence 1 : There is a huge gap in commnication between mena dn women. WE DONT UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER ANYMORE. (fashion industry is one of the causes…)

Sentence 2 : Women are more confused today. THEY SHIFT ROLES AND NOW THEY DONT LIKE IT.

Sentence 3 : Like my previous post was saying, we are mixing R(elations) with P(ublic) R(elations). Who needs a person beside him/her being all the time pleasant as PR manager of a multinational?

Sentence 4 : We have lost concept of family ad now men cannot find a reson to settle down with a woman. Dear i dont want you just to share the bills!!! Or going to parties….

Sentence 5 : World economy pave the way to men discovring more “exotic” beauties. Globalization’s gift became a course for western world ladies. Men more and more are preferring the eastern traditional model of the caring wife….

Now lets fight….

Love in times of inflation….the Facebook experience…

Because of summer i thought is better to write on something more personal and relaxing…

Love. “Love is all around”, “All you need is love”, “Love is a many splendor things”, are some of our recent myths created by rock music. But is today any love left? In times of pressure, social divisions, isolation and disappointment, how people could love and be loved in return. Are we getting in love with the person? Or with his/hers social status, banking accounts and career stabilty?

I have heard from many friends that there is a lack of trust today… trust within human relations…trust on feelings.

So my question (for excusing also my title) is : What will take to have love appearing again in our society?

Face Book is a social network developing peer to peer relations. At the same time is a huge promotion sphere. People are exchanging ideas, information and creating a social image. But are they exchanging feelings? Is our perception for human relations through internet different? do we have a different definition for love? Is still a magic word?

Because after of thousand electronic dialogues i think that WE DON’T LOVE each other anymore. We care but to the extent that our immediate individual interests are not under threat. We socialize but without transpassing the surfece of meaningless dialogues.

I’m seeing on Face book status updates like : I had a wonderful evening, I had great time, My weekend was amazing, I’m lost in heaven etc…. And i’m questioning my self: is world so beautiful, or am i so pathologically miserable?

My theory is that we are living in a cruel cruel world. In an environment that gradually becomes less user friendly…even climate change makes more egoistic in order to defend our living standards. So human relations are reflecting the general financial environment. Inflation is harming love, because i have to limit my social activites, my trips abroad, my special gifts to that special someone.

I dont know if i’m true or not. And i’m quite open to different arguments. But i’m very pessimistic for our future love relations….

EU : When Bankers care for profits and not for people. Our defence….

Eu before two days increased Euro area interest rates – in total by 1,25% the last 1 and 1/2 year-. A decision not followed so far by US FED Bank and Bank of England. Even if expectations index on inflation is worse for British and US consumers than the rest of Europeans. (see this article on Economist).  So European Central Bank is making a classical political choice to protect banker’s profits from future losses and by ingoring the consequences on people’s daily lives.

And why our daily lives would worsen? Because higher interest rates would try to slow down inflation by stretching demand against supply and creating a negative environmet for non -discipline consumption. As a next step, highest rates would decrease domestic investment, would push for higher wages and for higher unemployment. In US even if its inflation is 4%, Fed interest rates remaining around 2%. Because US leading political choice is to keep inflation down by avoiding higher wages (and consequesnt increase of production costs) , by helping flexible labour market and keep consumption relatively stable.

Who would be proved right and who wrong? In my opinion as a simple consumer EU rush to highest rates based on Banker’s fear for possible losses of their loan’s portfolios. So the main poltiical choice is to limit consumption, even if current inflation crisis is based on price’s increase of oil and food, two commodities difficult to limit as consumption. In our oil based economy how you would find your way through? As far as food prices are under concern, i was trying to think how i would limit my own consumption of food. Starting a diet?

So i will give you some practical advices as consumers would give a tactical fight versus Banks:

1. reorganize your loans. Try to make a better deal in terms of time length of your loan and keep your interest rate flexible. Current interest rates could not stand more than a year. When speculation would fade away people predicting even higher rates would face losses.

2. Minimize your oil consumption (means sell and buy a smaller car). Or turn to public transportation (even if ticket’s prices are going up, still are relatively cheap to automobiles…)

3. Make them more afraid by investing your savings to foreign exchange markets. US and Asia has far more possibilities for profits. Even London Stock Exchange has the possibility to perform better than rest of EU.

4. People, with a possibility to do so, choose to move to ex pat professions or take your pension and live abroad. Strong Euro is making cost of living in other countries lower than our domectic economies. In my little comparative study Athens has cost of living, similar or higher than New York or Washington DC. And if you add the benefit of access to cheaper loans, makes US a better place to live!!!

5. Companies, of course, you would invest even more to foreign economies and is doubtful if your profits would come back to be invested in European economies. I’m sceptical that foreing investors would choose the negative mood of European bankers instead of taking advantage of opportunities in rising economies not so pessimistic as Europe.

By other words : EU is failing to pass exams on the topic “How i’m dealing with a global financial crisis” . European Central Bank made such a defensive and passive choice demonstrating political conservatism and luck of creativity in a period that is supposed to face society’s problems. Highest rates would not serve our daily life or EU companies’ fight for being internationally competitive.

So again what we will do with this Europe? Who will take the political responsibility for further decreasing our living standards?

Top 10 Losers of the year……

Μετά από όλους τους καταλόγους επιτυχημένων σε αυτή την χώρα αλλά και των αγαπημένων, σκέφτηκα σήμερα να φτιάξω μια λίστα όλων των μεγάλων “χαμένων” της χρονιάς. Γιατί στην ζωή τον πρώτο τον θυμούνται όλοι, τον δεύτερο κανείς….Εγώ λοιπόν δεν τους ξεχνώ και θα έλεγα ότι πάντα με συγκινούσαν οι ιστορίες τους, όπως όταν ήμουν δάσκαλος και στο πλαίσιο πάντα των αντικειμενικών βιβλίων ιστορίας που έχουμε δίδασκα την πιο ενδιαφέρουσα προσωπικότητα της περιόδου της Ελληνικής Επανάστασης ….τον Ιμπραήμ!

Ξεκινώ λοιπόν με τον κατα την γνώμη μου πάντα τεράστιο (!!!) χαμένο της χρονιάς :

Νούμερο 1 :

Ευάγγελος Βενιζέλος

Είσαι μπροστά στην εστία, ο τερματοφύλακας είναι χαμένος κάπου στην μεγάλη περιοχή, απλώς χρειάζεται γλυκά να σπρώξεις την μπάλα και να χαρείς την νίκη. Εσύ παίρνεις φορά τραβάς με όλη σου την αγαρμποσύνη ένα δυνατό σουτ και….γίνεσαι ο περίγελος του ποδοσφαίρου (στην περίπτωσή μας της πολιτικής) ….αντί για ήρωας, γίνεσαι ανέκδοτο. Ε τι άλλο να πω; Αν αυτό δεν είναι ο ορισμός της πολιτικής ανικανότητας, να διαχειριστείς μια κατάσταση υπέρ σου, τότε ποιός είναι ;

Νούμερο 2 :

Χρήστος Ζαχόπουλος

Είσαι αυτός που του χρωστάνε…έχεις το πάνω χέρι σε ένα αξιοσέβαστο κομμάτι του κρατικού προϋπολογισμού…οι ιδέες σου δεν χρειάζονται επιβεβαίωση γιατί “υποχρεωτικά” τις ακούνε όλοι σε μια κυβέρνηση…προχωράς μπροστά και δεν μασάς. Και όμως έχεις την φαεινή έμπνευση να “παίξεις” παιχνίδια εξουσίας με μια μέτριας εμφάνισης συμβασιούχο….ετών 35. Και μετά έχεις και την φαεινότερη ιδέα να την απολύσεις. Και τέλος αποφασίζεις να μην το αντιμετωπίσεις και να κάνεις το άλμα στο κενό…. Αυτό για μένα είναι η απόλυτη ήττα….

Νούμερο 3 :

Χίλλαρυ Κλίντον

Είσαι η γυναίκα του πραγματικού σταρ της πολιτικής. Του ανθρώπου που έχουν λατέψει στις ΗΠΑ. Του πιο δημοφιλούς πλανητάρχη της τελευταίας 30ετίας (ίσως και παραπάνω). Έχεις προετοιμάσει το έδαφος 8 χρόνια ότι έρχεται η ώρα σου και καταφέρνεις να χάσεις σε ένα κλίμα αφόρητης κατινιάς… Δεν εκμεταλλεύεσαι ούτε στο ελάχιστο την δημοτικότητα του άντρα σου και τελειώνεις στην πολιτική. Σε επίπεδο μεγέθους απώλειας εξουσίας θα έπρεπε να είναι στην πρώτη θέση. Αλλά ως ξένη την κατατάσσω τρίτη.

Νούμερο 4 :

Μάκης Τριανταφυλλόπουλος + Θέμος Αναστασιάδης

Τι να πω; Έχεις την πρώτη εφημερίδα σε κυκλοφορία, έχεις κάνει το colpo grosso στα ΜΜΕ και μετά πας και μπλέκεις με την εξουσία έχοντας απωλέσει αξιοπιστία και ανεξαρτησία. Και αφού έχεις ξεκατινιαστεί δημόσια πας και πουλάς!!! Και σε ποιόν; Στον θεωρητικό “εχθρό”. Κανείς δεν έχασε τόσα πολλά τόσο γρήγορα, αντί πινακίου φακής.

Νούμερο 5 :

Ελεονώρα Μελέτη

Ξεκινάς σαν μεγάλη ελπίδα σε έναν άγριο, ανταγωνιστικό χώρο. Τα πας μέτρια και μετά αποφασίζεις να κάνεις τι; Έρχεσαι σε συγκρούσεις αντιμετωπίζεις τον τηλεθεατή μάλλον σνομπ, δημιουργείς “επικαιρότητα” με μπούρδες και προσπαθείς να παίξεις την έξυπνη “ξανθιά”. Ε το τέλος είναι βέβαιο. Και άραγε θα ξαναυπάρξει τέτοια ευκαιρία;

Νούμερο 6 :

Γιάννα Αγγελοπούλου

Αποφασίζεις μετά από κάποια απουσία να μπεις επιτέλους στα ΜΜΕ. Και καταφέρνεις σε 2 χρόνια σωρευτικές ζημιές 47 εκατομμυρίων ευρώ!!! Αυτό είναι ρεκόρ και σίγουρα αποτελεί τη μεγαλύτερη χασούρα σε έντυπο!!! Το κουτσομπολιό πάει σύννεφο, αλλά με μια ψύχραιμη ματιά, είναι καθαρά θέμα μάνατζμεντ. Θα ανακάμψει οικονομικά το όλο εγχείρημα ή άλλη μια αποτυχημένη προσπάθεια εισόδου στον τύπο;

Νούμερο 7 :

Ντέμης Νικολαϊδης

Για πρώτη φορά έχεις την κατάσταση στα χέρια σου. Ελπίζεις στην πρώτη επιτυχία ως πρόεδρος. Και μετά ανακαλύπτεις ότι έχεις λάθος προπονητή, ότι σου φταίει η διαιτησία και όλα τα κακά του κόσμου. Αποτελείς λοιπόν το μοναδικό φαινόμενο να έχεις χάσει ένα πρωτάθλημα που κέρδισες!!! Και μετά να πηγαίνεις σε ένα ντροπιαστικό γύρο αγώνων και να χάνεις και τα έσοδα του champion’s league. Μάλλον ο πιο μεγάλος “χαμένος” ποδοσφαιρικός πρόεδρος.

Νούμερο 8 :

Στέλιος Παπαθεμελής

Ξεκίνησε ως κεντρώος, έγινε ΠΑΣΟΚ, έγινε ΝΔ, έγινε αρχηγός κόμματος….και πάτωσε! Τέτοιο προμόσιον μικρό κόμμα δεν έχει δει ποτέ στα χρονικά. Τιμήθηκε μάλιστα με θέση σε debate αρχηγών μπας και ανακόψει τον Καρατζαφέρη. Τελικά βρέθηκε κάτω από το 1% και έχασε και την σιγούραντζα της βουλευτικής αποζημίωσης. Βέβαια δεν ξέρω αν τελικά ήταν χαμένος. Υπάρχουν και οι ευρωεκλογές!!!

Νούμερο 9 :

Φραντσέσκο Ρουτέλι

Η ελπίδα της ιταλικής κεντροαριστεράς που “κατάφερε” να την οδηγήσει στην μαζική της ήττα (και την πιο συμβολική ψυχολογικά), τόσο σε εθνικές όσο και δημοτικές εκλογές. Η απώλεια του Δήμου της Ρώμης αποτελεί και προσωπική του ήττα και οδηγεί σε μια τελείως διαφορετική κατεύθυνση τα πολιτικά πράγματα στην Ιταλία. Αλλά σύμφωνα με πολλούς τιμωρήθηκε η “δεξιά” πολιτική του όλα αυτά τα χρόνια και η αποκοπή απο τις λαϊκές μάζες. Κάτι σαν ΠΑΣΟΚ δεν σας θυμίζει;

Νούμερο 10 :

Και για να κάνω την πλάκα μου – ΕΦΗ ΣΑΡΡΗ

Σταυρώστε με, σταυρώστε με, στα χέρια σας σηκώστε με έλεγε προεκλογικά. Το πήρε ο Λάκης και το έκανε σύνθημα παραλλάζοντάς το σε : “Μηνύστε με, μηνύστε με”. Έχασε την ιστορική ευκαιρία να εκλεγεί και αποτελέσει το θέμα ΜΜΕ, κοινοβουλευτικού ρεπορτάζ και ειδήσεων. Έχασε την ευκαιρία και ο Καρατζαφέρης να έχει ένα πρόσθετο όπλο ενάντια στο τραγούδι του Ψωμιάδη. Νομίζω ότι αποτέλεσε το πιο δημοφιλές θέμα των εκλογών στο youtube. Δύσκολα θα βρεθεί αντικαταστάτης της στις επόμενες εκλογές.

Προσωπικότητες στην Ελλάδα: Top 10

Επειδή όπως προείπα καλοκαίριασε και ο κόσμος έχει αρχίσει πια τις καλοκαιρινές του διακοπές, έχω αποφασίσει ότι θα ποστ-άρω καλοκαιρινά και ελαφρά θεματάκια ώστε να είμαστε και κοντά στην εποχή μας. Σήμερα λοιπόν θα σας παρουσιάσω το top 10 των προσωπικοτήτων που κατά την δική μου άποψη έπαιξαν ένα σημαντικό ρόλο στην χώρα αυτή την χρονιά.   Α ναι : εγώ έχω μείνει στα σχολικά χρόνια. Η χρονιά μου αρχίζει τον Σεπτέμβριο και τελειώνει στις 30 Ιουνίου…(άρα στην περίπτωσή μας 1/09/2007-30/06/2008) Ιούλιος και Αύγουστος για την Ελλάδα παραμένουν οι μήνες που μετράμε πυρκαγιές και κοσμικούς γάμους….

Οι 10 λοιπόν εκλεκτοί μου είναι :

Νούμερο 1 :

Κώστα Καραμανλής και Γιώργος Παπανδρέου (θα την μοιράσω την πρώτη θέση…)

Και οι 2 ως Β’ (Καραμανλής Β’, ΓΑΠ Β’) κατάφεραν αυτή την χρονιά να διεξάγουν περιφανείς νίκες : ο Κώστας στις Εθνικές εκλογές του 2007, ο Γιώργος στις εσωκομματικές του 2007). Κατάφεραν σχεδόν ταυτόχρονα να ξαναθέσουν από μόνοι τους τον εαυτό τους σε αμφισβήτηση (Ο Κώστας απέχοντας και ο Γιώργος με μια αστεία εικόνα ενότητας) και οι 2 έχουν για τα μελλοντικά μου βραβεία την ίδια ευκαιρία : να αλλάξουν το πολιτικό σύστημα για πάντα.

κρατώ την πρόσκληση ΓΑΠ προς Κώστα στην Βουλή :

“Ας πονέσουν και τα 2 κόμματα αλλά ας αλλάξουμε το σύστημα τώρα”

Νούμερο 2 :

Αλέξης Τσίπρας

Τάραξε τα νερά του πολιτικού συστήματος. Είναι το νέο πρόσωπο μιας πολιτικής φθαρμένης και απαξιωμένης. Αλλά αποκλείεται να σηκώσει το βάρος αυτό μόνος του. Είναι μια εικόνα πολιτική δυνατή, δημιουργεί συμπάθειες μόνο και σίγουρα θα πάει καλά εκλογικά. Για του χρόνου εύχομαι να μην υπερεκτιμήσουν ούτε τις δυνατότητες του, ούτε και τον ρόλο του. Γιατί θα τον κάψουν…

Νούμερο 3 :

Καλομοίρα + Εθνική Ομάδα Ποδοσφαίρου

Οι εκφραστές της συλλογικής μας ψύχωσης- ελπίδας για εθνικές “επιτυχίες”, σε σημείο οργασμού. Και οι 2 απέτυχαν και άρα στην χώρα της μικροψυχίας είμαστε όλοι έτοιμοι να τους “σκίσουμε”. Σιγά που θα τους την χαρίσουμε….Και θα συμφωνούσα αν δεν είμασταν εμείς οι ίδιοι που βάλαμε στο στόμα τους λόγια που ποτέ δεν είπαν…..έχουμε φτάσει στα όρια της αυτιστικής φαντασίωσης…

Νούμερο 4:

Δαλιάνη Αγγελική + Μαρκέλλα Γιαννάτου

Η πρώτη έσπασε όλα τα ρεκόρ σε μια απαράδεκτη από άποψη σειρών τηλεοπτική χρονιά. Δικαίως είναι το πρόσωπο της χρονιάς. Μόνο μια ερώτηση: Του χρόνου θα υπάρχει;

Η δεύτερη είναι το μέλλον που έρχεται. Καλοσπουδαγμένη, δυναμική και μέχρις στιγμής τα πάει περίφημα. Του χρόνου έρχεται με μια ταινία και ένα σήριαλ. Εγώ ποντάρω ότι σύντομα θα είναι ακριβοθώρητη….

Νούμερο 5 :

Αντρέας Βγενόπουλος + Νίκος Πατέρας + Παύλος Γιαννακόπουλος + Τζίγγερ

Αυτοί οι 4 αποτελούν το πρώτο τόσο “βαρύ” επιχειρηματικό σχήμα του ελληνικού ποδοσφαίρου. Αλλάξαν την εικόνα του “απόλυτου” αφεντικού. Εισάγουν την λογική του απόλυτα επαγγελματικού μάνατζμεντ, αλλά βγάζουν όλοι μαζί και την τρελλίτσα τους!!! Έχουν βάλει όμως και ένα στοίχημα : Στην χώρα της φαιδράς πορτοκαλέως, μπορεί να υπάρξει μια συνεργασία τόσο επιτυχημένων επιχειρηματιών χωρίς να φαγωθούν μεταξύ τους;

Μέχρις εδώ όμως!!! Είπα top 10 και έφτασα μέχρι το 5. Είπα για 10 και σας έγραψα για 11. Αφήστε που ο 11ος ο Βγενόπουλος, από μόνος του έχει θέση : Μήνυσε 2 πολιτικούς αρχηγούς, πούλησε τον ΟΤΕ και όπως είπε και ο ίδιος απασχολεί 52000 ανθρώπους. Δικαίως λοιπόν αποτελεί τον μεγαλύτερο εργοδότη στην χώρα.
